Observed opened boxes of cold brew coffee labeled as “Refrigerate After Opening”. PIC stated they’re used and discarded within four hours. Facility must provide written verification of the date and time each one is opened and ensure it’s used or disposed of within four hours.

Open containers of nuts are not protected from contamination. The table in question was moved under the coverage of the tent. A larger overhead cover with side coverage is recommended.

Inspector Comments
Containers used to store food equipment are in poor condition and are not designed for use in a retail food facility. Replace equipment. Keep clean at all times. Food equipment shall be designed, constructed, installed and operated in accordance with these sanitation criteria set forth by an ANSI-accredited testing agency such as, but not limited to, the National Sanitation Foundation, Underwriters Laboratory (food equipment sanitation), ETL Laboratories (food equipment sanitation) or other nationally recognized agencies. All equipment shall bear the appropriate testing agency mark, sticker, seal or certification in order to aid the licensee and Department in determination of approval. In addition, the manufacturer’s name and model number shall appear on the equipment for identification.
